Intelligent Hybrid Power Management

The Pivot Master System – Hybrid is designed for irrigation applications where solar power alone may not always be sufficient to meet operational requirements. The system combines solar power with grid or generator supply using seamless blended operation, ensuring consistent irrigation performance under varying conditions.

This system is built on the Pivot Master Technology Architecture. Learn more about how pump–pivot synchronisation and seamless solar blending operate.

Solar energy is always prioritised as the primary power source. When sufficient solar energy is available, the system operates on solar only. If solar energy becomes insufficient to maintain correct pump pressure, grid or generator power is automatically blended in to supplement the shortfall.

This process is fully automatic and requires no manual intervention. If no grid or generator supply is available, the system operates exactly like the Solar Only configuration, starting and stopping based purely on available solar energy.

While many pivot systems can be optimised through nozzle and pressure configuration, seasonal factors can make daytime-only irrigation insufficient during certain periods of the year.

The Hybrid Pivot Master System addresses these challenges by extending available irrigation hours while still maximising the use of solar energy. Grid or generator power is only used when required to maintain correct irrigation pressure, ensuring efficient energy utilisation and consistent water application.
